PRE-RACE

Entries for the 2024 King Price Trailseeker Series are available here: https://trailseeker.co.za/mtb/events/

To be seeded in your correct racing batch, you need to enter online by the Wednesday preceding race day. Entries received after Wednesday will not be eligible for prize money and will be seeded in the last batch of your distance. So, technically entries never close, but you need to enter timeously to be seeded in your correct race batch and to be eligible for prize money.

Yes you can. Up to the Monday before the event you can transfer your ticket on Howler by logging into your profile. After Monday, please contact us on our Whatsapp Line on 060 747 8286 to transfer your ticket.

SASeeding handles all the batch and seeding information and typically sends an email containing your race details through on the Wednesday before event day. If you feel unhappy or haven’t received your batch/seeding, please contact SASeeding on our Whatsapp Line on 060 747 8286. Alternatively, your seeding query can be addressed by Registration staff on race day.

Registration will be held on race day at the race venue from 06h00. Please arrive at least an hour before your start time. Remember to bring your SASeeding number board along.

SASeeding number boards are needed to place you in the correct batch according to your racing history. Riders of similar abilities and fitness are batched together. It eliminates situations where faster riders need to pass a slower rider anywhere on the course and reduces bottlenecks considerably. It promotes safety and rider enjoyment. It also serves as a means of identifying a rider.

By scanning the QR code on your SASeeding number board, you are identified as a participant and are ‘checked in’ for the race. We also check that the timing chip is still functional.

The board can be bought online through Howler by purchasing a merchandise ticket when you enter. Alternatively, it is available at registration venues at a cost of R60. If you’ve bought a SAS board online, you will be able to collect it at registration venues. Please use this board at all future SASeeding timed events.

Please contact us on our Whatsapp Line on 060 747 8286 to change your race distance.
