King Price Trailseeker #2 Sondela on Saturday, 9 April 2022, was postponed due to unusually high rainfall measured at Sondela the week and night before the event.
Sondela measured 140 mm of rain the week before the race, 70 mm of which fell on the night before the event. Routes that were already difficult to navigate were now inaccessible. Dropping marshals, setting up water points or deploying medics if riders needed assistance en route would have been near impossible.
After a round of talks with the venue and various service providers, it was decided to move King Price Trailseeker #2 Sondela to 27 August 2022.
All riders will receive an automatic rollover to the new date. Faces Advendurance is willing to accommodate our Trailseeker riders as far as possible by providing this rollover of entries free of charge, even though we already incurred costs, and the event was cancelled due to circumstances regarded as an act of God. We regret that no refunds can be given.
What happens to my merchandise or SAS board purchased online? If you bought a SAS number board or any merchandise online, please collect it at the next Trailseeker event or feel free to visit us at our office at 116B Glen Ave, Equestria, Pretoria, to collect.
