A mere 15 km north of Pretoria, close to the Roodeplaat dam, lies a bushveld haven for mountain bikers. Farm roads, cattle paths, dual tracks and strategically designed single track for mountain bikers make this the perfect venue for the second event in the King Price Trailseeker MTB Series. The terrain is typically rough and rocky amongst the undulating grasslands but quickly turns more forgiving as the trails wind alongside the lush Pienaars river and open onto fast and flowy canal paths. The route is known to be flat and fast but does require some technical skills to take on the rocky singletrack. Wildlife can often be spotted along the routes; just one more reason to love these trails! The Bundu Bash attracts bikers who all enjoy winter cycling and bushveld adventures.
