Event two is Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge, in the Cradle of Humankind at the foot of the Swartkop mountains. It’s about 35 minutes from both Joburg and Pretoria. Fast open stretches give way to steep climbs and rocky technical sections, with flowing singletrack linking it all up. Giraffe and zebra roam the reserve, so don’t be surprised if you get an audience.
