PRE-RACE
Entries for the 2025 Ford Trailseeker Series are available here.
Entries close the Tuesday before the race at midnight. Unfortunately, no late entries will be accepted once they have closed.
Yes you can. Up to the Monday before the event you can transfer your ticket on Howler by logging into your profile. After Monday, please contact us on our Whatsapp Line on 060 747 8286 to transfer your ticket.
Registration will be held on race day at the race venue from 06:00. Please arrive at least an hour before your start time. Remember to bring your Pursuit Race board along or purchase one on the day for R60.
The Pursuit Race Board (formerly SAS) is a compulsory timing device for all race distances, ensuring your results are accurately recorded. If you don’t have one, you can purchase it through your Howler profile or at registration for R60. Please note, registration is cashless.
Yes, you can collect a Race Board for someone else. Please ensure you have their Race Board number, name, surname, and race distance.
Please note that there are no physical race packs; instead, riders will receive their virtual goodie bag via email on the Wednesday after the event.
Your seeding and race details will be sent out on Wednesday before race day. If you have any questions or haven’t received the information, feel free to reach out to our race office at info@advendurance.com
Pursuit handles all the batch and seeding information. You can expect an email containing your race details on the Wednesday before event day. If you feel unhappy or haven’t received your batch/seeding, please contact us on 060 747 8286. Alternatively, your seeding query can be addressed by Registration staff on race day.
You will be seeded according to your Pursuit index. You can view your index with recent race results on our Portal – https://pursuit.africa/#/dashboard/my-results
The top 10 Grandmaster males and females will be seeded in A batches, the rest of the field will consist of the top-ranked Youths and Juniors.
To change your race distance, please contact us via email at info@advendurance.com. Our race office will assist you with the change.
RACE DAY
Here are the preliminary start times for our mountain bike events.
Please note that these times are subject to change and may vary by season and venue.
Marathon: From 07:00
Half Marathon: From 08:00
20km: From 09:00
10km: From 09:30
Prize Giving: 11:30
Yes, there are water points along the route, with the number varying based on the distance you choose. Each water point will have water, snacks, and products from our nutritional sponsor, PVM. Snacks may include items like potatoes and date balls, but the offerings can vary.

Yes, prize money is awarded! You can find the full breakdown of the winnings here.
Yes, helmets are mandatory for all riders. You must wear a helmet at all times while riding, and you will not be permitted to race without one.
Yes, medics are stationed at various points along the route to ensure your safety and provide assistance if needed.
If you experience a technical issue, head to the nearest water point, where a technical zone can assist with repairs. If the issue cannot be fixed, a sweep vehicle will come by to help you or transport you and your bike back to the finish line.

POST RACE
A result SMS will be sent on race day. If you’ve not received an SMS, please visit our results page here, where results are uploaded.
Your race results will be sent to you by SMS from Finish Time after the event which will contain a link where race results can be queried. You will have until the Tuesday after the event to submit queries.
Ideally, we prefer to have all prize winners on the podium for press and photographs. If you cannot stay for prize-giving, please make a prior arrangement with a staff member to avoid forfeiting your prize.

Yes there is, you can enter here. Please note that the E-Bike category is not governed by UCI or CSA rules and is considered “unregulated.” As we cannot control the maximum speed settings on E-Bikes, no prizes or prize money will be awarded for this category.
